Our block was a battle-axe lot, which made it challenging to find a builder willing to customize the design to suit our specific requirements.
We approached several builders but none were prepared to adapt their plans to meet our needs. Vive Homes was recommended by our property manager and from our first interaction we knew we were in good hands. Chad from Vive Homes was exceptional in explaining the entire building process and was fully flexible in customizing the design to suit our vision. The construction phase progressed smoothly, with no major delays especially compared to what we had experienced or heard about with other builders. Our onsite supervisor, Cam was always available to answer our questions and address any concerns. He consistently accommodated our requests for site visits and ensured we felt informed throughout the build. Brett, Kara, Kylie and the entire Vive Homes team were fantastic to work with. Had a really great experience when I built one of my properies with Vive homes in Officer a couple of years ago, process was really smooth with really nice people and always ready to answer any queries even after house build was complete. Well supported during the color selection, docs for loan approval etc. Final build quality was also really good and I have had no issues with the house so far, there was an issue with one of the appliance but warranty receipts were promptly provided when I reached out (I missed keeping those handy) and problem was solved by appliance manufacturer under warranty claim. Vive Homes completed a custom-designed home for us in Rockbank, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the initial design phase through to construction and handover, communication was clear, consistent, and professional.

The team made the whole process seamless, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. There were no issues along the way, which gave us great confidence and peace of mind throughout the build.

This was an extremely misleading and costly experience. We were given an initial estimate that was clearly far too low, which pressured us into paying several thousand dollars just to obtain a preliminary quote.

When the final price was issued, it was approximately 35% higher than the original estimate — completely unaffordable and nowhere near what we were led to expect. Because of this, we were forced to walk away and lost our deposit.

Had accurate pricing been provided from the beginning, we would never have engaged or paid any money. The entire process felt like a bait-and-switch tactic designed to secure upfront fees rather than provide honest pricing.

They have been an absolute pleasure to work with through the entire process from colour selection to the completion of my recent 3 months maintenance. I recently built my first custom home with Vive Homes and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience as they made the process easy with their can-do-anything attitude. They totally made my dream home according to my design ideas. Dealing with Kylie for colours and selections was the best part as she is equally excited in helping you, not to mention finding  the items I required. I was super impressed with Kylie's communication too. This is all I wanted with my build, honesty and communication and that is exactly what I got. Brett and Kylie are very personable and I wasn't just another build, they were always available to me when I needed to clarify, make a change or answer my questions.  I moved in recently and there are some defects to be rectified as expected but they are sorting them out and haven't left me chasing them and I don't expect any issues going forward. I am so glad after a recommendation given to me to build with them,  especially after all that happened with Covid and watching other builders go under. Oh and I have to mention that they built my house as per contract timeline too, no delays. Do I recommend them to others.. YES YES I DO.
